I love cute saddle pads. Sure, they’re not a necessity, but having a fun one makes me smile every time I saddle up my mare. Saddle pads are like clothing: they’re a great way to express your personality. Unique saddle pads also stand out in the tack room, so you won’t have anybody grab yours by mistake.

And if you need an excuse to buy more saddle pads, well, the more you have the less often you need to wash yours. And cute saddle pads also make fun gifts (for your friends or… just your horse).

It can be a pain to try and hunt down cute saddle pads. It seems like sites don’t usually have a convenient “cute” category, and often you don’t know what you’re looking for until you see it.

So to make this easy, feel free to browse my dream list of cute saddle pads. Yeah, I’ll be a little jealous if you get one before me, but I won’t complain about there being more fun saddle pads out in the world. So without further ado…

My Cute Saddle Pad Wishlist

I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time scouring the internet for the cutest saddle pads the web has to offer. I’ve compiled this list to hopefully help you find what you’re looking for too. I’d also like to note that I’m primarily an English rider, so you’ll only find English saddle pads on this list. Maybe someday I’ll do a corresponding one that features fun Western saddle pads.

Banana Print Saddle Pad

I’m going bananas over this saddle pad (sorry, I’ll see myself out). But honestly, I love the bright blue and the bananas are such a fun yellow color. It has padding and a nice quilted pattern, and it has a contoured shape so it fits your horse’s back comfortably. If you’re not a fan of bananas, there’s a peach patterned saddle pad too.

Toucan Print Saddle Pad

I’m a little obsessed with this one. The bright orange would look so cute on Libby’s bay coat, and I love the little toucans. All in all, this saddle pad feels tropical, which would be a great escape from the current dreary winter weather.

Marble Pattern Saddle Pad

I can vouch for Weatherbeeta saddle pads. This is the brand I’m using right now, and the rainbow saddle pad we have is durable, vibrant, and really holds up. But I’m very tempted to add this one to my collection. I love the elegant, seafoam green marbled print.

Wave Print Saddle Pad

You and your horse will make waves in this vibrant saddle pad. It feels very artistic.

Shimmer Pink Saddle Pad

I love pink. I love sparkles. This glittery saddle pad combines both those things. Judging from the reviews, it’s absolutely gorgeous when the sun hits it. This set comes with a fly veil, too so you can be extra matchy-matchy.

Blue Leopard Print Saddle Pad

Okay, here’s another Weatherbeeta saddle pad in an electric blue leopard print. And you know what they say, leopard print’s a neutral. Maybe not this bright of blue, but they also have a nice soft shade of brown.

Tropical Saddle Pad

This is a bright tropical print on a neutral cream background. It features palm leaves and hibiscus flowers. Mmmm. I feel a warm saltwater breeze and can smell sunscreen.
